Our platform uses modern, privacy-first technology built for the evolving regulatory landscape, but our roots run deep. GRC Careers is built and managed by the veteran team behind ExecSearches.com, a pioneer in executive recruitment that has served the public, private, and nonprofit sectors since 1999. With more than two decades of talent acquisition experience, we understand the high-consequence nature of hiring leadership in this field.
GRC Careers is a specialized, hand-reviewed job board. You will not find the duplicate, expired, or off-topic listings that flood general job sites. Every role here is focused on governance, risk, compliance, privacy, and AI governance, and is reviewed by a person before it goes live.
The people behind GRC Careers
F. Jay Hall, Founder. An East Coast native and a lifelong student of the right fit, Jay earned an Air Force scholarship to Purdue University for mathematics and computer science. At the University of Missouri-Columbia he wrote his master's thesis on matching roommates through personality and compatibility, and built the campus's first interactive public website.
His path into recruiting started earlier, and wider, than most. He began on search committees at the University of Missouri and went on to hire staff, then headed to Boston in a hot hiring market, recruiting first for a firm contracted to MIT. He soon went independent, which opened up a wider range of work, and spent about a year and a half as a corporate recruiting consultant, with engagements that included a bank and a cable company, where he helped staff a call center. Higher education, financial services, and corporate operations: that range became the groundwork for everything that followed.
His executive search career began at Isaacson, Miller in Boston, the firm Arnie Miller co-founded to recruit the leadership of the nation's civic infrastructure, where his first searches were in healthcare finance before he became the generalist firms called on to rescue stalled searches, because he could recruit fast, across the mission-driven world: nonprofit, health, advocacy, energy, technology, government, transportation, children and youth services, libraries, philanthropy, foundations, and socially responsible corporations.
During a slow search summer, a corporate headhunter brought him in to train its recruiters on a tool most of them had barely touched: the Internet.
In 1999 he founded ExecSearches.com, now headquartered in Broward County, Florida, placing nonprofit leaders nationwide, with a practice spanning California and the East Coast. He still practices nonprofit executive search today as Founder of ExecSearches, staying current with its best practices and technology, with recent searches including senior leadership for a nonprofit fighting kidney disease. For decades he has also coached job seekers one on one.
From matching roommates to placing executives to connecting people with the right roles, his conviction has never changed: the right fit changes everything. Stephan Pochet, VP of Operations. A GRC professional from France, living and working in the United States, Stephan is a risk advisory and internal audit leader with more than a decade in financial services, having led SOX and regulatory audits, risk assessments, and remediation for major institutions including Citi, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and McKesson. His work spans credit risk, mortgage servicing, and the regulatory frameworks that govern them, from SOX and SEC reporting to the OCC, CFPB, and PCAOB. Educated at Sciences Po Lyon, with a public accounting certification from Cornell, and trilingual in English, French, and Spanish, he leads operations at GRC Careers and writes its essays on AI governance, risk, and compliance. In memory of Arnie Miller
This site honors Arnold J. “Arnie” Miller, co-founder of Isaacson, Miller, whose work helped shape mission-driven executive search and the civic infrastructure it serves. He showed me that this work is about building and sustaining that infrastructure.
Arnie was old school; I am new school. He dedicated his life to developing civic leadership. I built GRC Careers to carry that mission forward in an era shaped by artificial intelligence.
The tools have changed. The mission has not.

- Paid job listings (Summer Special): 30 days for $125, 60 days for $175, or 90 days for $200, shown directly to our specialized GRC talent pool. Every posting also goes out in our job alerts within 24 hours and in our newsletter every two weeks.
- Featured upgrades: Featured on the front page for $100 (15 days), featured in Search and Job Alerts for $100, or all three for $160.
- Premium promotion: A full social media campaign for $300, a 600-word blog post about your search with a social sharing image for $275, or both together for $499.
- Organization Profile: A $300 profile page with your logo, description, a link to your website, your open roles, and a link to your candidate privacy policy.

All prices are shown and charged in United States dollars (USD), and every payment is processed securely by Stripe using industry-standard, PCI-compliant encryption. We never see or store your full card details. You receive a receipt right away and a downloadable PDF invoice for your billing or your client.
