The Law Enforcement Response (LER) Specialist exists because Trust and Safety needs a dedicated, precise, and trustworthy owner for one of our most sensitive functions: responding to law enforcement inquiries, legal process, and platform safety investigations with accuracy and speed. The volume and complexity of subpoenas, warrants, and emergency requests reaching Instacart requires someone who can make sound judgment calls under pressure while protecting user privacy and keeping us legally compliant. Twelve months from now, this person will have built a track record of legal response handling, established trust with our Legal team and strengthened the processes that keep Instacart s platform safe for every shopper, customer, and partner. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and requires working one weekend day. What you’ll cook up in your first year Legally airtight response record: Every valid subpoena, warrant, and court order processed accurately and on time — with clear documentation that holds up to Legal review and protects Instacart from compliance risk.
