We have a robust, hands-on engineering culture dedicated to continuous learning, knowledge-sharing, technical skill development and networking. We are an essential part of the Bank’s technology platform and develop applications for many important business areas. Third Party Management (TPM), part of Deutsche Bank’s Global Procurement function, is responsible for the processes that manage risks related to the engagement of third party vendors and outsourcing. TPM has been through a large-scale transformation program to change the approach, process and technology used for the vendor risk management process. This senior project manager role is responsible for driving the strategic execution of transformation initiatives across Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Resilience, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations from the PRA, FCA, EBA, and DORA. The role will drive cross-functional delivery, embed resilience into business operations, and oversee the successful implementation of strategic programs that enhance risk posture and regulatory compliance. This position is ideal for someone with deep TPRM expertise, strong governance and management skills, and a collaborative mindset, with experience in financial industry. Even if you do not meet all the requirements below but can demonstrate transferable skills, we encourage you to apply. Group COO acts as the bridge between the bank’s businesses and infrastructure functions to help deliver the efficiency, control, and transformation goals of the bank. Responsibilities - Strategic Program Management: Lead large-scale, multi-year programs across TPRM, applying structured project management methodologies (agile/waterfall/hybrid) to drive execution of the strategic roadmap and ensure alignment with PRA, FCA, EBA, and DORA expectations. - Risk Frameworks Integration: Bring strong consulting-style expertise to assess, enhance, and operationalize TPRM frameworks, including due diligence, control assessments, risk concentration, and lifecycle processes, while embedding them holistically into enterprise risk and supply chain strategies. - Regulatory Remediation Compliance: Oversee complex remediation programs, coordinating cross-functional teams to close regulatory gaps related to ICT service identification, contractual uplift, register accuracy, and alignment to Critical and Important Functions (CIFs), ensuring audit-ready evidence and traceability. - Cross-Functional Delivery Governance: Establish and manage program governance, RAID processes, executive reporting, and dependency management while steering diverse stakeholder groups and ensuring timely delivery of program milestones and KPIs. - Change Enablement Innovation: Drive organizational change, process redesign, and continuous improvement using structured change-management approaches, while incorporating enabling technologies (Power Apps, Copilot, AI analytics) to enhance transparency, efficiency, and program control. Skills - Extensive Financial Services Experience: 15 years’ experience in financial services and consulting, with senior leadership roles delivering complex, multi-workstream transformation programs across risk, resilience, operations, or technology. - Expertise in TPRM Operational Resilience: Deep knowledge of third‑party risk practices, due diligence, control assessments, monitoring, exit strategies, and comprehensive familiarity with PRA SS2/21, FCA PS21/3, EBA Guidelines, and DORA requirements. - Strategic Governance Capabilities: Proven ability to translate executive strategy into actionable program plans, build robust governance models, manage escalations, and ensure high‑quality regulatory and Board‑level reporting. - Stakeholder Team Leadership: Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior executives, navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, and lead cross‑functional teams across the three lines of defense. - Technology Innovation Proficiency: Experience delivering large-scale remediation or change programs involving contract remediation, ICT register uplift, and the use of enabling technologies such as Power Apps, Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, and AI-driven analytics to improve risk monitoring and program execution. About risk management jobs

Risk jobs own the methodology for identifying, assessing, and escalating enterprise, operational, and technology risk. Second-line teams set risk appetite and challenge the first line. Jobs like this one are typically evaluated against frameworks such as enterprise and operational risk frameworks, NIST AI RMF, and risk-appetite and escalation practices.

How to position yourself for this risk management job

In your resume and outreach, tie your experience to how Deutsche Bank would apply enterprise and operational risk frameworks, NIST AI RMF, and risk-appetite and escalation practices, and lead with concrete outcomes rather than duties.
