Join NRO IG as an IT Auditor. Strengthen NRO programs and operations through independent oversight. Support audits, analyze data, and report findings. Help detect and deter mismanagement, fraud, waste and abuse. Collaborate with auditors, conduct interviews, and present results. Analyze IT networks, systems, and apps. Support quality assurance tasks and write reports. Travel may be required. Vetted and onboarded as a CIA officer, assigned to NRO OIG. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates should be committed to improving the efficiency of the Federal government, passionate about the ideals of our American republic, and committed to upholding the rule of law and the US Constitution. The NRO OIG will consider work experience, educational background, and professional certifications in assessing your skills and knowledge to determine eligibility for a specific grade and step. Specialized experience includes supporting the completion of performance audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards or acquiring, maintaining, or using relevant information technology systems. Demonstrated excellent writing skills including an ability to synthesize information from primary and secondary sources into written products that are clear, concise, accurate, objective, and precise. Demonstrated excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex information, collect information from interviews, and customize the information presented to the audience. Demonstrated excellent analytic and critical thinking skills, including the ability to assemble and assimilate large volumes of quantitative and qualitative data, decipher trends, identify key issues and associated root causes, and draw appropriate conclusions. Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation Desired Qualifications Advanced degrees Professional certifications: Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Experience with government auditing, program evaluation, or information
