For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see Notice to Out of State Applicants . ​ POSITION SPECIFICS ​ University Police and Public Safety is seeking a Clery Compliance Specialist to assist with all aspects of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act) compliance oversight University-wide. The successful candidate will work cooperatively with other units to collect data and coordinate publication and distribution of the required Annual Security Reports and Annual Fire Safety Reports for each of the University’s campuses across the commonwealth. The successful candidate will assist with: Development and delivery of training and monitor programs to ensure compliance Development and revision of policies related to compliance Conduct audits in response to reports of non-compliance Develop a report and summarize investigation findings to the Clery Compliance Interdisciplinary Team, administration, federal agencies, etc. Periodic updates, guidance and recommendations to the Federal/State Representatives, University President, Board of Trustees, Provost, and various senior Administrators Respond to the United States Department of Education, PA Auditor General, and University Internal Audit inquiries and recommendations Coordinate compliance processes and procedures at the Commonwealth Campuses Comprehensive knowledge of the following is strongly desired: Clery Act Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) Higher Education Act (HEA) Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Reporting obligations of PA Act 104 and PA UCR Act Title IX guideline The successful candidate must demonstrate attention to
