The Supervisory Supply Management Specialist -Assistant Chief Supply Chain Officer (ACSCO), serves as the alternate to the Facility Chief Supply Chain Officer (FCSCO) and is assigned continuing responsibility for managing a major part of the Logistics Service in the supply chain management (SCM) program with the direction and opinion of this role having the same authority given to the Service Chief. Qualifications: To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 8/14/2026.. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-13 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-12. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. You may qualify based on your experience as described below: Specialized Experience: Must have 1 year of experience at the next grade level 12. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Experience includes: Plans and coordinates with fiscal, acquisition, clinical and administrative operations in the managing and integrating of supply chain operations. Plans, develops and adapts the supply chain management procedures as needed to coordinate the management and control of all expendable (EX) and non-expendable (NX) inventory. Develops implements and evaluates the logistics and property accountability plans and policies. Note: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
